I saw: Final Destination: Bloodlines.
I give it 7 XLRs out of 7 XLRs.
Pros:
60s Rose Lalonde in the first minute of the film. (Remember, Companion thinks you're a stupid FUARKing 怨霊 who deserves to die if you find this kind of girl cute and appealing.)
It's a Final Destination movie so like, SAW, it's kind of forced to be directed well, like, an actual movie to be kosher with the fandom. I say "like a movie" and "well" but I really mean is the jumpy flash-cutting that every early 2000s horror movie did because of The Ring remake (despite that having a logical albeit corny reason for that to be the way the ghost moved) and SAW and extreme close-ups. (1)
Final Destinations speaks to me in a way that most horror doesn't because it's essentially just a GAD ghost. And ghosts are already kind of scary. Whether it's the chicken or egg is besides the point. This kind of shit is ingrained deep in me, deeper than nightmares. Jigsaw and Death™ feel like omniscient pain and death JUDGEMENT BOYS that could come ooga booga you way in the night because you had panic attacks or had a panic attack that caused you to leave a place that was going to explode. Not that I'm really scared by these movies but more that I see them as a recontextualization of what truly makes me afraid which is essentially an omnipresent system punishing me for my existence. Like, sins before an angry God but both more personal (in that it is locally, specifically, and temporally me) and yet more impersonal because it is a somewhat arbitrary system (moreso Jigsaw than Final Destination) that does not claim to be a higher truth like God would. Also, again, GAD ghost, sometimes I randomly think about how I could die in public at any moment but I push those thoughts DEEP down and it manifests as… (more) broader anxiety. ANYWAY.
I would say there was a decent death in it. (2)
