Strangers being kidnapped and forced to kill one another is inherently exciting and cool if you can make it feel real enough. This might seem like a difficult premise to sell because there are obvious plot questions as to why a mass kidnapping and death games would occur in the first place, but it's actually not that bad because you don't have to worldbuild much and it's neat and self-contained. Selling a vast sci-fi world for example has its own challenges. Still none of the Danganronpa games were able to make me *care*. As a reader, being stupid (e.g. Danganronpa fans) makes it easier to accept badly written premises also.

Actually, that inspires some thought into Hu¢¢ie's writing, in a way. There weren't (and aren't) any clear lines to where Karkat would go in terms of verbal abuse (and there still isn't- now he just retracts.) One could say that the introduction of Vriska was the start of Karkat's woobification- or at least, allowed for it. Vriska took up mental real estate for Karkat in the two most primal forms of trolls (Karkat and Terezi) and he channeled some of his energy into the dynamic of the Scourge Sisters. I must consult my writings. See, insight can come from even the dumbest fucking places.

Unfortunately, the only high-rated thing in the discography is a compilation album (also begrudged.)
Overall, it's fine. The drums are too "pillowy." Can't think of a better way to describe it. Fucking music reviews. I guess.
Some really fun riffs and other stuff though. In fact, one might say some parts are "pretty good", I just wish some of the mixing were different (sometimes the drums are louder than the guitar which is a big no-no) and the drums were coarser.

pizza went awry today. my sauce was already thin to begin with and has thinned to a watery consistency after being refrozen several times, so it's now very easy for it to run over the side, which can very quickly ruin the launching process. thankfully, it wasn't a total disaster, and so I only lost some sauce, a couple pieces of mozz, and the nice round shape the dough had prior.
that said, the cooked dough texture was actually great, and the thing overall was pretty nice to eat.
