I think the current "system" of using real world religions for the demons but focusing mostly on their own stories is ideal. Unfortunately, they've gotten pretty yearning with using big-hitting gods and letting the mythology take over the story, so in hindsight,
maybe. All they have to do is go back to how they wrote stuff before, though.

Megaten has a lot of little symbolism going on (mostly in designs) but if we're trying to truly dig deep with who does what and why, you're left kind of lacking. I think that's a problem. I forgot why you don't think it is.

"Oh, because they fooled us" If you were so great, how? "Because their machinations are so great and extensive" So they're powerful then? They possess some kind of keen intellect? "No"
At which point, we could point to them exploiting fundamental weaknesses of the people at which point, fine, I'm okay with that impasse even though I think it's a stupid narrative.

Keep in mind that this is coming from someone that'd be called an anti-Semite by the Israel-hating public because I think Jewish nepotism is a real problem, Jewish people often hold destructive views, and the Jewish "faith" needs serious reformation.

But the further you push back Jew hate (without acknowledging the pushes and pulls of history), the less sense it makes sense. It's just another example of every post-Marx radical "thinker" trying to make every single position ontological (which means it's double plus RIGHT.)
That, alongside what I've mentioned before (identity politics and violent populism) is another big problem with the far right- the fact that it's ultimately just hyper-conservatism and fails to recognize any faults of our forebearers beyond "They didn't
cull X." The solution to all this and more is to
cull a bunch of people and further industrialize, of course.
I'll get off my soapbox but this is unfortunately the kind of thing that comes to mind when you're forced to perceive Sinfest every single

I think this is a Helljob and O.J has written herself into a corner (at least in how people perceive her.) Visual gags get exhausting unless you're leaning fully into it like The Far Side or whatever. When you have actual characters and some floating continuity, running gags, silly continuing plotlines, and character-based humor is what redeems your daily brainsharts. They don't have to be great jokes to make for a great comic. It's why Peanuts is so good. O.J is terrible at this and just shits out Groeningisms or PeeWee samejoke.

What defines being disconnected- is it on an atomic level? The parts of a house can be interacted with as an individual object but I think we also see the houses as a whole being manipulated despite them being constituted of different parts (le Rose atomism monologue shits itself into my head and I want to die

) If John is standing on the floor, you can still manipulate that plane. For a game, it needs to have game logic. If John was standing on the floor, could you raise the floor to the portal? If not, can you still extend it? Does that mean you extend things you can't directly move? Why did Rose bother with stairs and planes instead of just raising the plane? "Something something grist values" but stairs are
SMURFING dangerous, whatever.

The real question is the exact opposite. I'm not even sure why no one just built a spiraling staircase upward since that'd be cheap on grist and the actual house doesn't actually matter, only the player touching the portal.

I'm sure there's a better way to argue this. I saw: Fantastic Four: First Steps (AGAIN)
I give it 14 XLRs out of 14 XLRs.

I have truly become XLR, destroyer of worlds.
Consensus:
Pros:
I saw it twice (2), I would see it four (4) times as an ironic funny but nobody would be willing to take me and I wouldn't do it alone.

My dad was loud so I'm glad he wasn't with me for my first viewing experience.
Evil Indian on TV.
I found it really funny that South America had way less teleporters than every other continent; it had like 3, and none went below Brazil. It was like it was an afterthought and even Africa was deemed more pertinent in teleporting. I thought of this last time I saw the movie but forgot to add it to that bloated shitshow.
Had a nice Rose™ wine.

I hope the dragonfly, fly, and mosquito in the megatheater come to have a measured appreciation for capeshit when the time for their rule comes to pass.
My dad's review compared to my mom's: "It was fun; I liked it. I'm glad Sue Storm was the main character because back in the day, she wasn't due to sexism." (He does not understand the Fantastic Four's push-and-pull dynamic which I've yet to explain in public) He did not remember Moleman.
I noticed some more small details (character beats and characterization, choreography, details, set-ups-and-pay-offs, quips(!!!!!!

) that I didn't notice before although I also noticed some unintentionally funny things due to directing and timing so overall that's a net neutral.

Cons:
What I thought was Alicia Masters wasn't actually Alicia Masters. Her name was Rachel Rudmin. WHO THE
SMURF IS RACHEL?!?!?!

British actor woman has same face always. She is more stiff than rock man or silver woman. This is an ethnic issue so I can't hold it against the directors.
There was a line in the first screening that I didn't understand that I failed to understand a second time, what the
SMURF.
I refuse to believe a woman that has enabled multiple genocides would give a shit about a baby.
meizenlust is too universal of an inclination. Maybe she didn't want Franklin to take Galactus's place because that'd ensure he couldn't be the victim of a last-minute
meizen. That makes more sense but it really should have been conveyed in the movie better.
I asked for a Mr. Pibb and the lady (all three times, it has been different people) didn't inform me they were out of it. I thought I had tricked someone into thinking they still had it or that they added it back due to demand. She just silently ordered a Dr. Pepper instead. They're onto me.

I had a boba tea after and Megidochan was seething.

It goes to show how infatuated the public was with Hitler's vision and how the internal rhetoric of National Socialism completely shatters when it isn't in a position of dominance. It also contributed massively to the feasibility of German reconstruction.
