I finished it, like a cheese-grater to my balls. I don't think the varlet was disparaging enough. An easy read is that neoliberalism, capitalism is a fascism, a colonialism, a KILLER, etc, etc, whatever. I feel like that's an easy read you can get from it, even if I didn't see the dev try to epically PWN Israel but what do I know. There are some references to things I didn't know, some terms I didn't know, some words I didn't know. I guess the dev is smarter than me, then. So what does my opinion matter? A decent chunk of the game was about college so it's likely the dev went to college. I guess the dev is smarter than me, then. So what does my opinion matter?
I feel absolutely drained of life. I don't want to do anything anymore. I don't know where to go from here. I'm catatonic.

I really don't know what to do with myself. I've got that listless urge to wander outside, wavering between the thought of jumping into traffic or not, perhaps get completely wasted. That's how I got lost that one time. So probably nothing has changed.

I guess, to sort of complete the narrative of "me" woven throughout this latest stream of posts, I'll add a criticism of Woodstock.
Wouldn't all the troll logs be so much better if you had a short exchange between the Kids going "Oh, hey, another weird troll just messaged me" or just shooting the shit on the side? It really wouldn't have required that much effort but it'd make the world feel so alive and like the characters were still smurfing friends with each other over the courses of the months (in real life) or pages. No, I don't really think this is more of a live reader problem than an archival one. You still feel like the Kids' friendship gets thrown aside for a bunch of yarnball. Almost every troll conversation feels obligatory, Hu¢¢ie doesn't really establish relationships unless they're necessary to the plot , some are necessary to the plot and STILL not introduced properly (Kanaya, Tavros, and Equius) "Yeah, well, maybe the trolls weren't really a complete friend group" is the cope but the real answer is that we just don't know. Equius and Feferi- what would their relationship be like, etc, etc. I feel like I made a list of these duos.
So much of Act 5 is drowned in plot- sidelogs, presumably, should be easier to write and add to the reader experience. But he didn't do them. Because he was high off his own fumes and didn't know what he was doing, fully.

>>24619I thought it would be subtly different as a gag, but it's the exact same angle it always is. It not be centered in the final panel really annoys me.

Again, we see the minute differences from doing haphazard strokes on certain brushes. Props given for manually drawing Nanc*sh's hair every single time but it's not consistent at all so… I really don't know if I prefer this to the CTRL-C-into-CTRL-V art of O.J. You know, other cartoonists trace layers or had such a simple style and were so consistent that they didn't need them…
>>24623>America was goading Japan into attacking it and Japan would be completely justified in fighting back>But it was a Jewish conspiracy to attack America, actually>Say, why are we colonizing and militarizing all these islands in Micronesia, again? Yes, Hirohito was seemingly against attacking Pearl Harbor initially, and this is a messy subject, but he did ultimately authorize it (6 days after the sanction of military action was The Attack On Pearl Harbor.) I wonder when or if we're going to actually get to Pearl Harbor or the end of the world. Again, are we going to address that Nazi Germany occupied places like FRANCE? We're jumping all over the place and for no good reason.

I wonder if this is going to be Hirohito apologism (this is ironically Allied propaganda being parroted; Tojo and the military were le Jewed) or somehow something even less nuanced than that.

I like being surprised by stories that take bizarre turns even if they don't make sense or disregard previous setup. Like in Zero Escape or Twin Peaks or… Woodstock. But it's hard to find this done well because the skills and resources required to make the story work on a basic level are more commonly used for a safer professional project.
