I'll just say it works on anime rules because of Rockstar writing.

"Bully" is a bad name for it but you can be a bully and give girls wedgies (by means of a glitch) in it, ehehehehehe…

Weird how you could originally do it but they had to remove bullying girls to try and avoid even more controversy because bullying someone half your size is OK as long as he's also a dude. But then again, the glitch does exist so I'm not complaining.

No.4067
>>4064>Given the school setting I assume there is more "Structure" than GTA generally, stillKID HELL is fun even if it's not fully realized.
>I saw it like Rockstar trying to serve the niche of being super popular>a game parents felt safer buyingBut there was an outrage, you fool.

I don't think Rockstar is stupid enough to not know their name tied to a game where you can bully kids would immediately attract massive controversy, back in the day.
>>4065Jimmy looks half black or at least feels he has a sort of mulatto vibe to him. Street smartness sort of event horizoning into general wisdom but is eclipsed by some sort of self-destructive thanatoistic urge. Lot of astrology words flying around here.

I'd even take the almost equally anachronistic "goths" (but more really just "alt" kids) over them since it's sort of a fake clique that has quasi-existed through pop cultural osmosis since the 80s. Though Jimmy and girl!Jimmy are supposed to be rebels so it's weird to have them rebel against rebels. Which is already still kind of a thing with the bullies and greasers but whatever.
Anyway, you should play Bully and glitch into giving Pinky a wedgie.

But I can see some merit in playing Bully. Most of my Rockstar exposure is sitting in my friend's living room watching him play Vice City, so seeing how they handle a "smaller stakes" and more institutionalized world could probably teach me stuff.
How about, comparative thesis on Bully vs. Hogwarts Legacy
No.4080
Also, another thing about Half Life that feels off is their focus on the platforming elements being so limp when they were coming off the backs of Quake. Yes, sure, rocket jumping is in the game but what did Valve really do to try and branch out? Give you a first-person long-jump (Allah Mario 64, inshallah.) What a joke.

Portal feels like a step in the right direction for "pHySiCs gaming!" but Splitgate came too late and is maybe bad, I don't know, I don't know if I like the exact implementation of portals, I haven't played it personally, and it doesn't have enough momentum or prestige to get the Midair treatment. It's also not Valve's game.
Portal 2, also, was not really a step in the right direction. It's astounding how little creative inspiration there was behind it.
Everyone touts Source for being "the physics engine" but all of the implementations have been "quaint" that quickly become trivial with time.
My brain feels weird today.

>No, it's a sane person's stance who recognizes that Xen and Sandtraps were complete horseshitSome indie dev shat out some bullshit that a mid-air readjustment tool is vital to platformers where depth perception is difficult like 3D platformers but especially FP 3D platformers (I don't know if a 2D FP platformer exists.) I will hastily accept this heuristic axiom. I'm assuming your "can't see your feet" phrasing wasn't literal because you can see your feet in a lot of first person games. You can see your feet in Portal and that is a good puzzle platformer.
I think there's a room for first-person platformers. They just might need to be designed into a niche.
