The other members can just leave NATO and make NATO-2 without the US.

The only time Article 5 was invoked was for 9/11 anyway. European soldiers fought and bled and died to avenge a bunch of New York financiers. Clearly, America is just freeloading off the rest of NATO.

I recommend the entry grade Gundam kits if you want to try something by Bandai. Don't let the entry grade name and low price fool you, these aren't baby kits. They're actually some of Bandai's best engineered kits they've ever made. They've got great part separation, articulation, and you don't even need tools to build them since all the parts snap off the runners.

Also if you just want to make anime girls and you want to make things you don't super care about, I'd recommend looking into Bandai's 30MS (Thirty Minute Sisters) line. You'll need tools for it like plastic nippers and a hobby knife, but that's about it since it's all snap fit. The kit you posted is probably a resin kit (which is a world of its own) that would need to be glued as well

 No.88625

Also, bamco general??

 No.88626

Something fun about 30MS is that a lot of the parts are not only compatible with each other, but also the 30MM (Thirty Minute Missions) and the brand new 30MF (30 Minute Fantasy) which are mechs and knights. If you want to make your own OC figure, you can do that with these. It's super cool.

This Japanese guy reviews a lot of kits as they come out. You can ctrl-f 30MS to see some of the kits he's reviewed if you want to see if the styles, parts, etc. are appealing to you

I’m starting to experience actual alterations in reality for the first time in my life. Like, not “you fell asleep, homosexual” level stuff, but perceiving reality itself actually bending, slowly and agonically, because I’m too stubborn and anxious to let it happen quickly. Drawings by other people of strangers I’ve never met are becoming people I know. Someone I know made a troll account :outy:BIZNASTY:outy: one of my friends’ existing accounts, and then once I started talking to them, they were that actual person on their real account and always had been. Another example is some people have friends who constantly talk about happily eating Cajun crayfish in a futuristic city while wearing power armor and then oops another friend discovers the Evangelion Cahun crayfish model kits.:blue101:

But the "literal me" vibes he was written with work for those of us who are no longer spring chickens. His antics are those of a tsundere teenager, but he's a wistful, meager middle-aged man who is uncomfortable with the reality that his flame is married, his body (and hairline) is at odds with his inexperienced soul, and he pretty much failed at everything and is stuck deep in a rut. He compensates for this disconnect by imbibing alcohol, screwing lookalike whores, and acting out the role of town curmudgeon.
But really, he just wants a loving [Family].

a character like that is (I presume) an example of someone who suffers because they haven't found healthy peace with their reality yet. you should find peace with aging and loss and move on into a blossoming realistic future, not sulk in your LDAR-cocoon while thinking about how pitiful you are and how over it all is

:ugh:
Now I get why REASON thinks Marzipan is a woman. Everything he listens to is the audio equivalent of Estradiol. This is like boymoder Butthole Surfers.

To be clear, the main thing that broke the camel's back here is the vocals. Certain voices should not do certain styles.

I have a rather high, scratchy voice with a lot of vocal fry for a guy, vaguely like all these soy (indie) rock singers that I hate. I would never do hard rock singing or some variation of talk-singing, I would screech, scream deep into my vocal fry, or actually try to harmonize (sing sing.)

I hate these songs because they're these limpwrist voices doing some variation of talk-singing. To properly talk-sing, you do need to have a soft kind of voice but not sound like you're still going through puberty like an Ian Brandon Anderson Curtis or Perry Farrell. If your voice is on the higher end of even that, you go softer and "break" your voice more like Robert Smith. I feel like the closest I get to breaking this hard and fast rule is some Weezer songs and The Descendants. (I forgot which album of theirs was my favorite so I was going to revisit them and evaluate if they're chart-worthy.)

You don't try to sound like Kidz Bop Sex Pistols.

I would like the instrumentals of this and sing over it in the way that I think would make it sound good but that implies I'm actually some kind of vocalist. :ahaha:

I know I said the problem is the vocals but some of this stuff is disgustingly clean when it should be more dissonant. I get that the surf rock tuning and amps or whatever the fuck you call it is the gimmick of this album (or maybe this band) but it doesn't fit the structure of every song and some :coolidea: noises would sound better if harsher. (I'm assuming this band is some vaguely not!ska alt rock in general.)

I would say the closest thing this is to is MSI vocals but even then I feel like Jimmy "Paying tweens to kiss me" "Urine" is straining his voice more and the music is somehow, still more intense. Believe me, I've listened to a decent number of MSI and Mr. Bungle knock-offs and this is reminding me of those. Those were truly terrible though; much worse than this, I wouldn't wish those on my worst enemy. I can't remember the one that just fucking killed me. :done:

Something about disco and demons or death or something? (No, not the The Residents album or Blood On The Dancefloor.) That's what I would consider "truly abysmal music trying to sound like something I really like", not this. This is just gay. Hope that makes you feel better. :terse:

Also, hey, Nardwuar. That's something, I guess!
>Super Nigga
Now I'M taking it. :run:

I actually liked the mini hip-hop song. :gowhiteboygo:
Oh, it didn't last and now we're just in straight ska territory.

I guess I'll add The Phasor too. Vaguely reminds me of Chrome except surf instead of space. (It would sound better as full space rock.) Last track was alright too.

2-3 songs of an entire album! The Marzipan special! He now owes me his firstborn. :larp:

I didn't hate this like the Modest Mouse album. It wasn't painful. It's just like riding the teacups ride at Disney Land or something.

I think of meizen in a similar way to how I think of veganism. Like, I can see why people object to this practice on an emotional level, but morality and God are spooks so there's no actual argument against this. We can decide to kill babies or make it illegal to kill babies depending on if it's convenient and practical, that's how morality works descriptively. What is much harder for me to see is how anyone has a very strong emotional attachment to wanting to abort babies. That's just retarded.

When the two combine, it does not instantly become a drastically more complex lifeform. Its development is a gradual process. So why do you think the fertilized egg (two worthless microorganisms combining) should suddenly be treated with full human rights? What utility does that serve?

Where"s the line, dumbass? New Mexico has no term limits. A baby is still developinf out of the womb, too. It's probably okay to push it a few more days right?
The line is pretty obviously where the human being is forming, and you have to actively intervene to stop it. I'm not sure why people think this is a gotcha. A sperm doesn't just turn into my son while I sit around, and I have to go to a clinic to kill it and prevent that.

 No.89330>>89332

Like I said, I believe the line is inherently arbitrary, so it's better to have a line that is useful in serving our other arbitrary axioms. I personally don't think that an egg that was fertilized minutes ago deserves full human rights. Is the use of a condom not also "intervention to prevent a baby from forming"? Why do you draw the line at the combination of sperm and egg?

False analogy, classifying a fetus as human/nonhuman doesn't change its physical nature in the way that a cat being dead/alive does. If you classified an apple as human and ate it, that would be "cannibalism"

Murder isn't evil because it kills something classified as human (which is somehow definitionally evil), it's evil because it violates an implicit agreed upon moral contract where people promise not to kill one another. "Fetus has cells and little limbs" doesn't explain why they should be included in the moral contract, it explains a scientific classification which is ~irrelevant as to where the moral line is drawn

The other anon's justification for fertilization = rights was that the fetus will develop "by itself" if not interfered with.

and the act of murder isn't dependent solely on the physical nature, and schrodingers box is a thought experiment anyways.

It explains why we should err towards it. If you believe morality is settled entirely by "implicit moral contracts," and a large part of society agrees "killing babby break contract," then that kind of settles it? But also this is assinine. Morality runs deeper that what an arbitrry majority happens to believe.

I saw: Captain America: Brave New World

Comicdweeb precursor: I guess I realized why they made Falcon the new Captain America instead of Bucky- it's so they could powercreep the shit out of the Captain America so that he can fight the RED FUCKING HULK and not get obliterated (sorry, Bucky, a bionic arm isn't enough of an upgrade but the Falcon suit is.)

Using Hulk villains for Captain Basketball American feels a little weird. But the MCU's Hulk fucking sucked so whatever.

This movie's version of The Leader kind of sucks. I get that his original motivations wouldn't fit and would probably make for a more linear and stupid plot but he's still not great as they write him. He gets barely any screentime, is stripped of his powers (and given an MKUltra technobabble equivalent), had his design changed ("BIG HEADS LOOK STUPID" - idiot executives that don't realize that vaguely brain-shaped broccoli heads look even worse), is a completely different character, has a weird RIDDLERcore cadence, and ends up being stuck in the infinite "cryptic villain in jail" status. I love seeing old characters but again, it's in name only. Just like the Mandarin. :sigh:

I have no idea how they would use The Leader in a new way given how tightly his story is wrapped up here (nor the theoretical British!Mandarin) so I'm not sure why we even got an end credits scene with him. Hu¢¢ien breadcrumbs?

MCU movies seem to be getting progressively more violent and murderhappy. To such a point that I was genuinely suspecting that they would kill off minor characters. Instead, it ends on a disappointingly optimistic ending.

Despite this, I think the movie and its action was rather competently directed (though the screenplay…) There's a lot of focus on neutralizing enemies without killing and protecting civilians which I enjoy a lot BECAUSE IT'S WHAT SUPERHEROES ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. Despite all of the clamoring, I don't think anyone has accurately pinned down the Marvel formula that makes them such a slog to watch as a dedicated fan. I think a lot of people (me included) would be fine with villain-of-the-weak popcorn-munching tier shit if they played with genres more. Have some more thriller, some more character-focused, etc, etc. I'm not saying Winter Soldier is one of the best MCU movies because it's unique (but it is) but that's certainly part of why it's so well-received.

I never realized that the Master is basically just The Leader. Everyone has made the comparison that Super Mutants are just not!Hulks but nobody pointed out that The Leader and Master's motivations are basically the same and their names are near synonyms? I don't know why I've never seen this pointed out- or why it took me this long in particular to notice. The biggest departure is that The Master doesn't have psiionics but I think that was an intentional choice to emphasize the free will of the Super Mutants. I wonder if there's something written about this in the Fallout lore Bible or some other official source.

Consensus:

Pros:
FUCK THE FEDS. :bird:

Bucky showed up and got the biggest laugh out of the (relatively big) audience (not me though, I'm stone-faced when it comes to movies and TV :meh:.)
I like Bucky but he looks kind of fucked without the longer hair and his beard isn't growing in right. He kind of looks like J.D Vance now.

SAW-esque lighting in some scenes.

Cons:

Weird prevalence of an Israeli gnome woman.

Implies that India is on the same level of relevance as Japan or France. Lol, if something from space landed in the Indian Ocean, India would be 優しい人ed out of it instantly by China.

I've noticed you do posting time-to-time when I'm's on or about so, which means your posting country is somewhere in between, let roll a dice, Italy and Russia, but the east of easter Europe have not that much number of countries, so probably Belarus, Ukraine or Russia is not where you posting from. So, Space you could post from shorted to regio Italy-Poland's eastern borders.

But yeah, the "'member Nintendo Classics?" but reimagined-by-a-dicsord-shutin genre is pretty extraneous. Trump hurry!

no, you're right, actually. being an outsider that only looks at things from a distance and makes snap judgments :outy:BIZNASTY:outy: on "vibe" makes you way more qualified to critique them than someone who's actually played them and their influences

if you've actually played warioware, you should know that it has a mismatched mixed-media look to its microgames that's often less coherent than what's shown in mindwave. it's one of its most distinctive aesthetic qualities

please don't pretend like you've played all the shit you randomly dunk on. you literally admitted like 10 posts ago that you're afraid of trying new things and you presumably normally watch videos of a game instead if you choose to engage with it at all

You yourself said that I've probably played more games that I'd like to admit. :^)

he wants to be commanded to do stuff he was already going to do, so he can be freed from the burden of responsibility for his own actions. "COMMAND ME (to play LoL), COMMAND ME (to listen to metal albums)"
