No.169493
>>169492Ironically, nobody brings it up despite its narrative importance. Though that's not *really* ironic for two reasons; one being that the readers of Homestuck barely give a shit about constructive narrative readings and two, Homestuck is barely even a "postmodern" narrative at the best of times.
Make this John a sticker because it's basically a meme and I would have used for some other post I made awhile back if I could find it and if it were in the right folder.

No.169525
>>169523
I stand by the fact that the original start of the comic started in-game (because of the cursor) with the commands being typed by the server player before he decided to go nonsense mode because he wanted Dave to be player three (3) for semi-arbitrary reasons and so the commands can't be from a player because Rose wouldn't say those things. You can see remnants of this idea with the Exiles and the trolls explaining away prompts but those are stupider than the original intent of those just literally being Pesterchum messages that the Kids are reading in real time while they play the game.

No.169532
>>169530>how portray the "game world" (that is homestuck already) that early.I think this is a post-hoc cope for the general retardation of the comic being obscurant and alienating instead of just easily being understood that "Oh, he started the game so all of this is just mechanics of the game" instead of having two levels of game because ???
