culls are largely nontransferable. Moreover, that getting your teeth kicked in isn't fun because of snowballing, game times, and death timers. Being completely clueless isn't as fun as it is in a fighting game against someone who's decent. You can still probably struggle and have fun with that instead of just looking at a gray screen and immediately running in and dying again.
Also, at least one of the two characters I have rely on melee which is a mechanic I refuse to touch so that's
grim.
